The Tākapu or Gannet in English is a stable putt and approach disc in the RPM range, in the wild it has bold colours, rakish lines and a wing span of almost two metres. Gannets are not only among the most elegant of birds but are also masters of the wind and attack their prey with the upmost precision. The RPM Tākapu has a slow and very stable flight with a gentle late fade. The bead-less rim and rounded nose fits perfectly into your hand and helps eliminate wobble. When thrown with high power they will hold their line like a laser beam. The Magma and Strata varieties feel silky and grippy and Magma comes in 3 grades of stiffness. With a similar depth to the Ruru they make great putters. Premium Platinum plastic will have a unique look and a bottom stamp.

Product detailed description

Disc type:

Putter (Putt & Approach) = slow speed discs which are primarily used for putting into the basket but they are also great for approach shots or drives from short and middle ranges.

Plastic type:

Platinum is a premium plastic based mostly on the Atomic and sometimes also on the Cosmic plastic, with pretty much the same properties. The special thing about it is the appearance. Platinum discs will always have an extra color and sometimes also extra amount of sparkles added. Most usually you will get a beautiful swirly peace of disc art. Every Platinum disc is unique - you won't find two same looking discs. The stamp is always on the bottom.

Colors:

In case of Platinum discs you can only place your order based on the weight. We're not able to make photos of every singe discs and those colors are hard to describe by words. That's why we decided that the color or the disc you get will be a surprise.
