The Tiyanak is a driver designed specifically for the really young, really old, and first time disc golfers.

This is a very understable disc that will give more distance to disc golfers who have a maximum throwing distance of 200 feet or less. Instead of watch your disc constantly fade as soon as it leaves your hand, see the beauty of an S-Curve flight path.

When thrown with enough power, the Tiyanak easily turns over in the direction opposite a golf discs natural fade. This makes the Tiyanak perfect for turnover shots. If you struggle with forehand throws, but need a disc that will turn to the right (for a right hand backhand throw), you are going to want to bag the Divergent Discs Tiyanak.

Disc type:

Fairway drivers = discs which are used for controllable long throws. Ideal for beginners, who want to start with driving. We recommend the fairway driver as your third disc - after you learn how to throw with a putter and midrange.

Plastic type:

MaxGrip plastic is made out of a premium TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) blend designed for maximum grip. This plastic looks fantastic with a shimmering appearance. It is moderately soft and flexible allowing for adequate safety and performance.

This is a premium disc golf blend that is much more durable than most golf discs for sale at comparable prices. The elastic nature of Maxgrip plastic allows it to quickly return to shape and gives it a heartbeat sound when pressing in the flight plate of many of our discs.
