Flight characteristics:

The Volt’s defining flight characteristics include a subtle turn and a reliable fade.

For average throwers and tailwinds, the Volt will resist turn. High-power throws and headwinds will activate the small turnover phase of flight, gaining distance and lateral movement.

The Volt’s fade is designed to terminate turnovers in a flat landing or better, and to range those straight gut shots at which the Volt excels.

With its workable stability and power-responsive flight, the Volt is most players’ best option for their core long driver.

Disc type:

Fairway drivers = discs which are used for controllable long throws. Ideal for beginners, who want to start with driving. We recommend the fairway driver as your third disc - after you learn how to throw with a putter and midrange. 

Plastic type:

Proton is MVP's Premium look and performance plastic. It is the most durable and designed to withstand the roughest conditions. It tends to make the disc perform slightly more overstable and comes in transparent candy colors. It offers a Transparent Optic™ Effect to improve visibility in low-light conditions. The Proton plastic cores have an Opaque Neon™ Neutron plastic overmold.
